Planner: Iles Events
Florist: A Wild Vine
Stationery: Anelo Calligraphy

I had the incredible pleasure of travelling to Sorrento, Italy and photographing a wedding at the historic Villa Astor. Overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, it couldn’t have been more a more beautiful setting. Lexy, my bride is a wedding planner herself so I knew going into this day that there would be so much thought put into every detail. From the flowers to the ceremony parasols, there were many thoughtfully curated elements to bring the day to life. I loved the organic, natural florals that perfectly contrasted the blue of the sea, and Lexy’s flowy dress that seemed to float around the venue effortlessly.

Villa Astor is part of the Heritage Collection, featuring properties that have historical significance and luxury amenities for the most prestigious events. This venue also has a secret sea cave you can swim in, which the couple and the bridal party took full advantage of the following day!

Tucked high above the sea in Sorrento, Villa Astor feels like a hidden world where time slows. With its cascading gardens, centuries-old stone paths, and the soft hush of waves below, it’s a place that invites intimacy. Ceremonies unfold beneath swaying palms or on the villa’s terrace, where the light stretches golden across the Bay of Naples. Inside, the villa’s hand-painted ceilings and antique details whisper of old-world charm, offering a sense of quiet grandeur. For couples who dream of a celebration that feels both deeply personal and effortlessly beautiful, Villa Astor holds space for something rare: a wedding that feels like it’s always been meant to happen here.
