This wedding at Elora Mill unfolded like a timeless Italian romance film set against the sculptural beauty of modern architecture. The couple’s day carried an intentional contrast; soft lace and delicate florals meeting the raw textures of stone and metal. Simone got ready at Cedarcliff Elora, a historic home down the road from the venue. It’s winding staircases and curved bronze details became a natural frame for capturing quiet, cinematic moments; Simone descending in her lace gown and cathedral-length veil felt almost like a painting in motion.

Every element was chosen with tactile beauty in mind: hand-torn stationery, antique teacups, and wax-sealed envelopes layered on silk; a nod to the couple’s love of heirloom details. The palette was kept understated and romantic, letting texture and light take the lead. Against the mill’s historic charm, their celebration felt both grounded and ethereal. An effortless balance of old-world grace and modern artistry.

Nestled above the Irvine Creek Gorge on the fringes of Elora, Cedarcliff is the kind of home where the getting-ready moments feel as elegant as the rest of the day. With its modern architecture, expansive windows and tranquil riverside backdrop, the house becomes more than just a prep space; it invites light, quiet and anticipation into every frame.

SIMONE AND JORDAN HAD THEIR CEREMONY AT THE BASILICA OF OUR LADY IMMACULATE, A STUNNING CATHEDRAL WITH STAINED GLASS WINDOWS AND EXPANSIVE EUROPEAN ARCHITECTURE
