I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Dani and Eric’s unforgettable engagement party at the iconic Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto. Known for its lush, whimsical interior filled with real beech leaves and twinkling lights, the venue created a magical backdrop for an evening full of laughter, love, and elegant celebration. From sneaking kisses in antique elevators to running through gold-embellished hallways, every moment was steeped in romance and theatrical charm. Capturing the couple’s love story in such a historic and visually stunning setting made this engagement party truly one-of-a-kind.

Every surface in this theatre tells a story, from hand-painted vines to gilded detail. It’s theatrical, romantic, and unapologetically ornate; the kind of place where history and imagination intertwine.

As a photographer, I love spaces like this, where the design itself sets the tone for a story before the photography even begins.
