There’s so much to say about Tulum. It’s a whole different world on this little corner of Mexico. An oasis of sorts, with the most incredible food, shopping and architecture. I was so excited when Parveen and Matt decided to bring me with them to shoot their engagement session here. I had already been the month before for a personal trip, so going back and being able to show these two all of my favourite places was one of the best experiences. I love sharing the things I experienced with others. We started off our shoot at hip resorts like Be Tulum and Nomade, ventured to the Grand Cenote and the Tulum strip, and finished off with a dip in the ocean watching the sunrise. Here’s a glimpse of all of our adventures. I can’t wait to for the wedding, P + M!
Merideth and Marco’s wedding day at the Broadview Hotel in Toronto’s east end was so full of colour, retro vibes and style. The entire day took place at the hotel, with the exception of Marco’s getting ready which happened at The Garrison’s Barbershop! I loved capturing this beautiful day and I hope a little part of that translates through these special moments.
This fall season I got to capture one of the most emotional and stunning weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of. Taylor and Jason’s day began at their homes in Hamilton, where they got dressed before heading out to their first look. We did their first look in a spot that reminded me of Lord Of The Rings with the cliffs and mossy rocks everywhere. Taylor decided she would be the one turned around while Jason came up behind her - I loved this little twist in the first look tradition! It was so sweet. The rest of the day happened at Dyment’s Farm, where the ceremony spot overlooks the Niagara Escarpment and the barn has an old rustic feel with exposed stone. The whole day was so much fun and we had such a pleasure photographing Taylor and Jason on this beautiful day.
