Adriana and Mateusz created a day filled to the brim with the things they love: the city, adventure, dance, music, and so. much. good. food. I want to write something that does this day justice, but still - months after shooting this, I'm at a loss for words. These two are so full of life that being around them inspires you to see the world in a better light, too. To give you an idea of how unique and full of spirit they are, I want to share a little BTS of their wedding day with you. Adriana and Mateusz went to the park every single day months before their wedding to practice the choreography of the La La Land dance. This was their first dance which you will see part of their reception! It was so spectacular, and so them! Not only that, but they planned every aspect and detail of the day themselves, even down to creating their very own menus topped with dried lavender. I'm grateful to call these two friends and to have created this story, together, with them.

Vendor info at the bottom of the post. Thank you to my second photographer, Matthew Robin, for capturing this day with me.

Mitch + Mari: Hart House, Toronto

Hogwarts might not be located in Toronto, but I would say that Hart House on the University of Toronto campus is pretty much the same thing! Mari and Mitch got married in a place that felt like  a castle. There was live music, sparklers, and a reception space that looked like the Great Hall in Harry Potter. Pure magic. Enjoy <3

While Mari and Mitch where saying their vows, their audience was participating in a ring warming. The beautifully crafted wedding bands were passed around to each person to hold and "warm" for the bride and groom.

On their wedding day, it was also Mari's parent's anniversary. They lit sparklers and celebrated it by giving them a first dance, too. How sweet is that?
